Korea Unemployment Check-in Helper

How to use it, and where the numbers come from

The order to use it

Start on the schedule page. Pick your application date or first check-in day, your benefit days and your type. If you save it, you can pick a round in the activity log.

On the activity counts page, see how many activities your current round needs.

Write each activity in the log as you do it and check the proof. Before check-in day, look at the entries inside the period and their flags once.

If you start or leave a job, use the deadline calculator to see the last day.

Values checked in the law

The 7 day waiting period (Employment Insurance Act Article 49), the benefit days table from 120 to 270 days (Article 50 and Annex 1), check-in days set between 1 and 4 weeks (Article 44, paragraph 2) and the 12 month benefit period (Article 48, paragraph 1).

Reporting a new job within 2 months (Enforcement Decree Article 65 item 3), changing a check-in date within 14 days (Article 65 items 2 and 4) and the fraud penalties (Act Articles 61, 62 and 116, Decree Articles 80 and 80-2, Rule Article 105).

I checked these on October 4, 2026 against the law text from the Ministry of Government Legislation, as in force on September 18, 2026.

Values taken from the handbook

These come from the 2026 Employment Dream Handbook and employment center training: the example that round 1 is 14 days after application, the in person rounds (rounds 1, 4 and 8, and every round for repeat claimants), the online filing hours, the activity counts per round, limits such as 1 per day and 2 job talks, the proof items and the 7 day report after leaving a new job.

I could not confirm these in the law text, so each screen names its source. They can change every year, so confirm them by calling 1350.

If the rules change

If the handbook or the law is amended, this site may differ. If they disagree, the employment center's guidance is correct.
